Book Review: Matilda...a genius girl ever!

I've just finished reading Matilda by Roald Dahl, a children novel recommended by my friend. This book is awesome! I think i'll read another children novel as an intermezzo in my free time. It refreshes my mind. I don't have to think it over getting the meaning of its story, yes...it's for children for sure! hahaha

Anyway, Matilda was an extraordinary gifted girl. She was kind of a genius five-year-old child who was rather ignored than being loved by her parents. She started reading newspaper in the age of 3. and by the time she was 4, she came by to a public library every day and read all of children books and began to read adult-literature including Dicken's and Hemingway's.

Her parents never paid attention to her brilliance. They discouraged Matilda's eagerness to read. When it came to school, Matilda was a brilliant student than others. She could read all reading passage given without hesitation and do the math just the calculator does. Her teacher, Ms. Honey was surprised to see her amazing intelligence.

Unfortunately, the headmistress, Mrs. Trunchbull, was kind of a monster for the students and she was Matilda's foe. Matilda used her brilliance yet magic trick to fight with her father, mrs. Trunchbull, and to help Ms. Honey got back her rights that was taken over by Mrs. Trunchbull who exactly her wicked-aunt for the last 20 years. She had done few miracles in doing so. And at the end, Matilda sort of "won the game". She was placed in the 5th grade at school (twice her age) by the new head master in school. Her teacher also got back her inheritance and her aunt was totally disappeared. Matilda was happy to have Ms. Honey as her teacher and a friend and the story ended with her moving to her teacher's house because her parents moved out to Spain forever.
