Confession of a Shopaholic Movie

It's kinda late to review this my fav movie type i watched last 2 weekend, but I'm eager to write about it since it's one of my fav novel.

I was very excited to see this movie.
I expected to see it as I imagined when I read the novel. You know, it's based on Sophie Kinsella's novel. I am a big fan of it and still reading the 4th novel now. But I had read the movie story before the film released and quite disappointed seeing that this movie is a compilation between the 1st n 2nd novels. hm..still wondering though!

Ok, I a bit disappointed because there's too many story changed and cut! For example, they change the setting. It should be in London and NY instead of only NY. But I'm still in love with it heheheh even though many people said this movie isn't suitable to be released nowaday, when the world is in economic crisis, for me, I take it as an entertainment in the middle of our crisis. I can live for a while in my dream-world of shopping hahaha The story is very funny, relaxing my mind which full of designer labels...dreaming...dreaming...dreaming.... :P

At first I thought the actress does not suit well to the character, but I'm wrong. I really like Isla Fisher as Rebecca Bloomwood. She is cute, fabulous fashionista, and really fit the character
even though her British accent is not really heard. From many aspects, she can be a true Becky Bloomwood in the novel with all her silliness in order to do her biggest problem: SHOPPING..!!

Kinsella's ROCK!!!...

Movie Review: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a movie inspired from a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, a famous American novelist who wrote about classic literature. I have a little knowledge about classic literature since i chose sub-major literature for my final paper at uni. But i've just only read one of his masterpieces, The Great Gatsby.

Back to the movie, it goes straight as one of the best movies in mine. It's about the life of Benjamin Button who is aging backwards. He was born as an old-grandfather look alike and dead in a proportion of a baby. Told from the second point of view, i guess, the movie is told in a flash-back style which is quite interesting. When i watched this, i had a feeling as if i was reading a novel. Maybe it's because the plot goes smoothly and they describe it with details so that it makes the duration of the movie reaches almost 3 hours.

Some people said it is a boring, awful movie, just talking no action. But in my case, i have a different point of view. A movie is not just a story. There's also a meaning behind it. I enjoy every single stories in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and their conversation as well.
This meaningful movie brings me to one of my life's greatest lessons. Life is just about a time. It's full of choices! and the choice is yours..it's all depends on how you create your life by using any given opportunities. You just have to be careful when it's time to choose an option because your life opportunity never comes twice. And you should know how to handle the easiness and difficulties in every choices you choose, because the life opportunity can come both in time of happiness and sadness. You'll never know it!! Don't just stay in your comfort zone. Sometimes you should choose a little more challenging option. You'll never know what's inside the box if you'll never open it. Whatever goals you have in life, don't think you can't reach it! So live your life to the fullest!!...Don't be too afraid to step back once to get 10 more better steps ahead. Once, a Chinese says, "A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step." -Confusion-

"Your life is defined by its opportunities... even the ones you miss." -Benjamin Button-

"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." -Benjamin Button-

Goodnight Benjamin. Goodnight Daisy.

Twilight: girls' desire of a man.

I just saw the movie Twilight last Sat. I fell in love with Edward Cullen when i was watching the movie. He is a gentle, warmth, protective, and responsible man!!...all basic criteria a girl wants from a man to love and to be loved..oh so sweet...^^ ignored the vampire side, please!!
This movie is categorized as one of my fav. Although it's about vampire, werewolf, and sth like that but in my point of view, the main story isn't just about that. It has a deep meaning inside..it's about unconditional love story.

I know it's just a movie, just a fiction story and character, but doesn't mean that there's no such a man like him! A story comes from someone's idea and the idea often comes from someone's experiences. I think it's a perfect example for men of how they should behave to a girl they love :)
It shows us the power of a relationship should be. NO sex, NO harsh, JUST trust and respect..It is the most important thing in a relationship..trust the one u love and respect as well..u'll hit the jackpot ladies and gentlemen! hahahaha :D

Eniweiii...after watching the movie, i'm curious about the novel. I like to read btw, and from my experiences, almost all of the movie based on a novel is not as good as the story in the novel itself. So i plan to buy the novel. Lemme guess..it sold out everywhere...and it is! i didn't find one. Only my sis get the book #4, Breaking Dawn, at Periplus SMS. But i don't want to read it before i read the previous 3 books..just wait :P

p.s: my friend joked during the movie: hey...hey...there's a lot of nice scenes for pre-wed pictures :P *swt* (ga lupa deh doi, merusak suasana wkt itu!! hahaha) this pic esp for her..enjoy doi!
