Today i was having a quality time with 2 of my besties and we're landing on Starbucks, a nice-to-have place for gossiping :P
In the middle of our conversation, a question came up in my mind...
w: guys, do u think that someone can change his own nature behaviour?
c : hm...i think so, actually it depends on he himself.
y : in my opinion, he can't change it totally but at least, he can diminish it, if he wants it to.
w: errr...okay! but it's such a hard thing to do, isn't it? sometimes i think it can't be changed although u want it badly.
c : it can be! believe me..my dad was a stubborn person. (fyi, her dad is one of the nicest guy ever, very caring and loving person to his fam, esp to his wife...so sweet...)
w: i give u an example, for some cases i am a short-term-memory kind of person esp. for something outside my business (if someone asks me for a help, for instance). I really don't want that happened but it happens out of my control. my bad, dunno y.... :'(
Another example, how about a temperament character? is it possible to change and remove it??? i know it's really really a hard job, but can't it? it's one of the characteristic i hate much!!!
e : maximized your reminder! hahahaha :p j/k
well, i think it's a bit harder to change the 2nd one. but u can always have it!
y : well, 1st example, u absolutely can change it. U just have to struggle with that and have an eager to learn. Big effort is needed!
2nd example, maybe u can change it but it's a bit harder than the 1st one. so the possibility is less than the 1st.
e : but still, u can, if u said so!! the choice is yours =)
w: um..okay! *still wondering*
At the end, we came to a conclusion..."it is easier for u to change some bad characteristics, for which u can have other ways (incl. ur big longing) to keep it away slowly but sure. Reversely, u have less chance for some bad characteristics to be changed or even be reduced. But nothing is impossible! it's all depends on you yourself."
So...what's in ur mind? ^_*

Book Review: Matilda...a genius girl ever!
I've just finished reading Matilda by Roald Dahl, a children novel recommended by my friend. This book is awesome! I think i'll read another children novel as an intermezzo in my free time. It refreshes my mind. I don't have to think it over getting the meaning of its story, yes...it's for children for sure! hahaha
Anyway, Matilda was an extraordinary gifted girl. She was kind of a genius five-year-old child who was rather ignored than being loved by her parents. She started reading newspaper in the age of 3. and by the time she was 4, she came by to a public library every day and read all of children books and began to read adult-literature including Dicken's and Hemingway's.
Her parents never paid attention to her brilliance. They discouraged Matilda's eagerness to read. When it came to school, Matilda was a brilliant student than others. She could read all reading passage given without hesitation and do the math just the calculator does. Her teacher, Ms. Honey was surprised to see her amazing intelligence.
Unfortunately, the headmistress, Mrs. Trunchbull, was kind of a monster for the students and she was Matilda's foe. Matilda used her brilliance yet magic trick to fight with her father, mrs. Trunchbull, and to help Ms. Honey got back her rights that was taken over by Mrs. Trunchbull who exactly her wicked-aunt for the last 20 years. She had done few miracles in doing so. And at the end, Matilda sort of "won the game". She was placed in the 5th grade at school (twice her age) by the new head master in school. Her teacher also got back her inheritance and her aunt was totally disappeared. Matilda was happy to have Ms. Honey as her teacher and a friend and the story ended with her moving to her teacher's house because her parents moved out to Spain forever.

Relaxation mode: ON
Yessss...at last i tried to do reflexology this evening! :) sounds not interesting?? hahaha but for me it sounds exciting and interesting cos it's my 1st time doing it and the result was soooo greattt...^^ my legs are lighter hehehe or it's just the feeling?? yeah, at least, my bf feels it, too!
eniwei, i choose Nano reflexology in Pluit bcos the place is new and good, classified to the high-class one and the price oh-so-cheap! you just pay Rp.45000,- for 1 and a half hours with that facility. I heard from some people that the owner of this place is Mrs. X who wants to have her own business just for fun, and her f***ing-rich husband, who loves her so much, opens this business. Rumours said he doesn't get much profit from it. It's just for fulfilling his wife's wish...what a lucky woman..
ok, here are the lists why you have to choose Nano (although i haven't gone to other reflexology, but i think i'm in love with this place hihi..)
1. the location is quite easy to find (just across Pluit Junction)
2. the place is nice, clean, and comfy
3. the chairs for doing it are all lazy-boy complete with a tv (local channel, fashion tv, and dvds) and head phone for each.
4. there r more than 50 chairs and many workers, too (we dun have to wait for long even though the place is full)
5. we also get a clean pillow and a blanket. (it makes you keep warm and comfortable)
6. we have 1 and a half hours to do while almost others just give you only 1 hour.
7. the important thing is the price!! for happy hour 10 am - 12 am on weekdays and weekends Rp. 30000,-. 12 am - 10 pm Rp. 45000,-. 10 pm - 12 pm Rp. 75000,- really worth it!!!!
8. and last but not least, the good and content services...The workers both male & female have a strong but nice power. (my bf and i did it at 7.30 pm, full of customers condition, and they still have it^^)
In my opinion, there is only one less point which should be taken care of, the waiting room!!! Although there is a small supermarket we can shop in, but there r only 9 or 10 seat for us to sit in. so when i wait for more or less 20 mins, i just stand up and walking at the supermarket.
Overall, i feel happy and enthusiastically satisfied though!!! really wanna come back next time :P
too bad i didn't take any photo ='( will do next time! today's reflexology my bf watched dvd and i didn't. i just listened to my songs and...slept! zZZ.....................oh...............zZZZ...........................................zzZZZ.................................................^^

Waiting for something....BIG!!
This blog is the continuation from my dilemma part..
- Oct 20, almost 400 girls tried their luck for being a SIA's stewardess. As for me, i did my SIA's walk-in-interview and the result was great :) i passed the 1st round: we are a group of 10 people and we have to stand up and come forward to answer the interviewer's question 1 by 1. Still in the same day, 3 people from my group continued to the 2nd round: English test (like simple TOEFL test) and followed by reading test: read a passage both in English and Indonesian. Again, i passed this round and the woman informed us to come at 10 a.m. tomorrow to have an interview. I felt happy and somehow can't believe it^^.
- Oct 21, i had my 2 in 1 interview at about 11.30 (1 and a half hours late from my schedule). It took 20 - 30 mins interview. Actually they asked so many questions about me, my life and my plans related to this job. Both the interviewers (man & woman) are nice people..They tried to make me relax..
Fortunately and surprisingly, i passed this round :D. However, 2 of my friends from my 1st group, failed. Dunno what the criteria they r looking for...
For those who passed, we would have a briefing at 4 p.m. so i waited till afternoon at JDC.
- Oct 27, i got an email which informed me that i got my turn for the final interview on Nov 5 at 11 a.m., while 4 of my friends i knew, got their turn on Nov 4. It's based on the alphabetical name..Actually i didn't prepare anything for my final interview on Nov 5 bcos my sis and 2 of her children came home to Jkt surprisingly. So i had my days full of happiness and tiredness for 2 weeks hehehe
- Nov 5, i came to Mulia Hotel Senayan at 10 a.m. and i came in the inteview's room at 11.20 (20 mins late from the schedule...better this time) This time both of the interviewers come from Singapore, Chinese-Singaporean and Indian-Singaporean men. I did my interview in relax mode but still nervous..I think this time is simpler than the previous one.
After i finished it, i waited for the result nervously...and when the woman called me to go out from the Rose room, i knew already my result whis was i failed this round T_T
Honestly, at that time i feel so sad of my failure. My effort for getting in till this final round is not easy..Can u imagine, for almost 400 girls that would die for this job hehehe, only 38 girls who got in to the final interview. and i thank God for it! I'm one of them. I've done my best and the rest is His best plan for me. That's my prayer. If i got in, then i'll be thankful and keep me being humble. But if i failed, let me take in good part. I don't ever regret this great chance happened in my life.
I believe that we as human can only make plan but only God will make the best decision for us. Just wait patiently, God knows the path you trod..He stretches our patience to enlarge our soul.
So...now i'm just.............waiting for something....BIG! =)
